Meet Our Family!
Alder Creek Pet Lodge has been part of the Kitsap community since 1976. Irene and Brad Lougheed purchased the lodge in 2001, moving from Marysville with their young children, Luke and Zandi, to begin a new family adventure.
After graduating from Central Washington University in 2015, Zandi stepped into her long‑standing role managing daily office operations. Luke met Bailey at CWU in 2012, and after graduating in 2016, the two returned to Poulsbo. They married in 2018, and Bailey brought licensed small animal massage therapy to the lodge after the family built her dedicated studio. In 2024, Zandi’s partner, Caleb, joined the team, working alongside Luke to maintain the kennel buildings and the 15‑acre grounds.
Irene and Brad have always believed in running a tight ship. Our family values clean, tidy spaces, good humor, and working together. Along with our small but highly experienced staff, we operate as a true team to keep Alder Creek Pet Lodge running smoothly — and to ensure every pet who stays with us feels safe, cared for, and welcomed into our family.,
